FATcat production has been steadily increasing due to customer demands. ConSemi recently shipped systems to the Philippines, Taiwan and Korea. ConSemi expects to bring production levels up to three systems a month by Q3. If demand continues production capabilities will increase to meet that demand.

ConSemi sees the main reason for the increase in demand as being due to the FATcat's ability to decapsulate multi-stack die packages without damaging copper wires. With the FATcat's ability to perform these processes along with its cross-sectioning and material characterization abilities, FATcat meets and exceeds today's failure analysis lab requirements for complex package types.
